Sweet Sleep for Your Thirsty Soul

“You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger,

And brought them water out of the rock for their thirst,

And told them to go in to possess the land

Which You had sworn to give them.”

Nehemiah 9:15 [NKJV]

The name of the Lord is a strong tower.

You know that you are safe in the hands of God.

Can you imagine what a privilege you have been given?

God is saying that you can be strong in the Lord.

Strong in the power of His might.

You do not have to worry or be afraid because nothing will come your way that He has not already overcome.

You will have sweet sleep; He will quench your thirsty soul

so that you will no longer thirst.

He will give you the living waters and the bread of life.

The Lord will keep your foot from being caught so that you will not be visited by evil, so keep your confidence in HIM.

Wherever you walk, make sure it is on HIS path.

For a good man’s steps are ordered by the Lord.

Live in the hope, confidence, assurance that is Christ.

“He will not allow your foot to be moved;

He who keeps you will not slumber.

Behold, He who keeps Israel

Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper;

The Lord is your shade at your right hand.”
