Double For Your Trouble

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

John 16:33 [NKJV]

Jesus Himself tells us we that we will have times of trouble and trials.

We live in this world, so it is to be expected.

But there is Good News!

Jesus has overcome the world.

In Him, there is peace.

In Him, there is restoration.

The Old Testament tells us the story of Job.

He was a wise, rich and good man.
But terrible things happened to him.
His children are killed. He loses his wealth.
He is stricken with a painful skin disease. 
And although he becomes very discouraged and angry, 
he never stops believing that God cares about him.

In the end, God restored Job's health, made him twice as

rich as before, and gave him ten more children.

So if you are going through your trials, rest assured in knowing that God will bless those who endure to the end.

And you shall have double honor and someday, God will reward us with unbelievable blessings that cannot compare with what we have today…that everlasting joy!

"Instead of your shame you shall have double honor,

And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.

Therefore in their land they shall possess double;

Everlasting joy shall be theirs."

Isaiah 61:7 [NKJV]
