Our Shield

"The Lord is my strength and my shield;

My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;

Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,

And with my song I will praise Him"

Psalm 28:7 [NKJV]

Yes, the Lord is our Shield.

He is our Protector.

He is our Defender.

He will guard us from danger.

He will shelter us from attacks.

Nothing can touch us, as long as God is our Shield.

The key is that God must be IN FRONT to protect you.

A windshield is in front of us as we drive and it protects us.

The armies of old held their shields in front of them to protect them.

So too, God must be in front of you, not behind you.

If you put Him behind you, you would be in the way of God's protection.

You would be trying to do it your way, on your own.

So surrender to God.

Let Him be all that you need.

Let Him shield you!

" For the Lord God is a sun and shield;

The Lord will give grace and glory;

No good thing will He withhold

From those who walk uprightly."
