Face Your Mountains

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:

‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’

Says the Lord of hosts.

‘Who are you, O great mountain?

Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!

And he shall bring forth the capstone

With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”

In life we all face “mountains”.

These mountains or obstacles can be in your job, or your marriage.

They could be in your finances or your health.

Whatever your mountain, you have to face it, otherwise,

The mountain will face us, overtake us and over-shadow us.

If you don’t speak to your mountains and command them,

They will speak to you and command you.

But you don’t have to do it on your own.

God did not leave us to face our mountains in our own strength.

It doesn’t even take power or might.

No, God has given us all the help that we need to face our mountains.

He wants us to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit.

The power that lives inside of us.

With this Power you can face your mountains.

And you can command them to be cast into the sea.

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
